Megan's strategic operations, communications and marketing experience spans 10 years in the military, in the Intelligence and Public Affairs fields, 4 years in entrepreneurship, and includes 5 years spearheading policy and programmatic advocacy work up to the highest levels of the Army and Department of Defense, and a year of work across two nonprofits' leadership teams.
She's been passionate about team building and leading institutional and cultural change since her years as a competitive athlete and Division I Volleyball player at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Megan is a Professionally-Trained Mindset Coach through Metanoia Catholic, a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach, and brings together a unique blend of experience and expertise in operations, strategic planning, leadership development, public relations and strategic communication, marketing and copywriting, community relations, research and analysis, team-building, ministry, coaching and mentorship, and holistic women's wellness.

She's trained in trauma-informed coaching practices and nervous system regulation, and works with passionate change-agents to be a force for holistic health and healing by leading themselves first -- through compassionate inner growth and ethical and trauma-aware business and leadership.
She has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, health/life/nutrition coaches, and more, to slow down the world's hustle and instead create lives, businesses, and ministries that thrive from a foundation of peace and rest.
Anna brings unique value to organizations through her highly relational, connective, and ideation strengths. Anna has been self-employed and working remotely for more than 15 years.

"OPTIMIZE FIRST" Consulting Packages
Tailored consulting, mentorship, & coaching packages for organizations who are planning to hire a Director of Operations & Communications now or in the near future.
If strategy, operations, and communication are not well-defined, it is very challenging for someone new to come in and effectively move the organization forward.
Either a) it takes a LONG time, b) they burn out, or c) you get extremely lucky and find a unicorn who can magically create order from chaos.
Doing the following before hiring a DOO/DOC will save the organization significant resources:
- Refine strategy, operations, and culture
- Build critical operational foundations that are missing
- Design & execute a marketing and communications plan that more effectively reaches those you want to serve
After 6 months of working together on these things, you will then be in a position to hire long-term from a broader employment pool, with MUCH less risk of burnout or turnover. 1) Initial Assessment & Preparation Process: Includes a call to understand needs, goals, expectations; a tailored comprehensive assessment; crafting retreat agenda & framework
2) Day-of Facilitation: Tailored to the organization, may entail:
- Defining Vision, Mission, Values, Purpose
- Conducting strategic planning or quarterly planning to set goals, assess & plan current and future projects, prioritize and identify milestones
- Refining communication mechanisms and norms, brainstorming ideas & open space for honest feedback, creating ongoing accountability, project management implementation to document, track, and evaluate outcomes
3) Post-Retreat Support & Accountability
30-60 days of customized support, including leadership coaching if desired. Our goal is to ensure smooth execution, evaluation, and process, preventing the tendency to revert back to the status quo.
Investment: $2000 - $4000, depending on the size of your organization and term of post-retreat support.
